Dori Seda told a lot of wild autobiographical stories & is among the most fun autobiographical cartoonists I’ve read. Wish she had lived longer! You can get her complete works in one unfortunately slim book, pictured above.

I like it when you put in a little personal commentary — like the Al Jaffee entry.

It’s hard to keep up when you have to continually draw toons all the time. Has this artist been covered already?
Harry J. Tuthill, was just curious. Fairly cool artist.
Sorry too many toons running through my brain, maybe
Harry J. Tuthill would be better under crumbling paper.
Hi MJ! I scanned a couple Bungle Family strips recently… I’ll see if I can get them posted this week for you. Tuthill does seem quite wonderful… it would be nice to read more of his stuff. They had a nice reprinting of his work in last year’s excellent Art Out of Time book by Dan Nadel if you haven’t seen it. Hope all is good with you.
I ran across some originals of The Bungle strips at a flea market, and immediately purchased them. Get this $5.00 each what a true deal of the day that was.
