Froggy the Gremlin (clip #6): Don’t Forget to Go To Church and Sunday School
That noise… that horrible, horrible, bleating noise before the hiyas set in…
Here Froggy abuses a fake Eye-talian man with suffocation and poisoning. I believe the fake Italian is the same man who played the fake Frenchman.
Andy concludes this clip with his standard closing… “don’t forget to go to church and Sunday school!” Andy, of course, doesn’t specify the religion he practices that condones summoning and cavorting with demonic frogs.
Warning: The below footage obviously contains insensitive ethnic depictions. If this sort of thing bugs you, you may not want to view it.

Froggy the Gremlin (clip #5): Froggy Whammies a Faux Frenchman
Having little stiff, immobile arms forced Froggy to evolve other ways to get things done. In addition to being a generally malicious bastard, Froggy also was able to possess people with mind-control, as we saw in the previous clip with him forcing a Andy to jam a creampuff in his gaping maw. We shall hereafter refer to this as Froggy “putting the whammy” on his victims.
Froggy’s preferred targets seem to have been people pretending an ethnicity not their own, it appears.
Here he is abusing a fake Frenchman. At least I think this guy is pretending Frenchness, although it could be that he is pretending to be someone pretending to be French.
So, please note: This clip contains someone pretending to be an ethnic stereotype or someone pretending to be someone pretending to be an ethnic stereotype. If this sort of thing offends you, you may not want to view it.

Crumbling Paper: Buster Brown… Well, it Was Worth the Money (strip #6)
Here’s an example I scanned of Buster Brown from 1915 by Richard F. Outcault. No “resolution’ at the end of this one… I’m guessing they may have gotten rid of those at some point, since this is a later strip than the previous examples.
Note that this strip contains the sort of stereotyping that was typical of comics of the era. If that sort of thing offends you, you may not want to view it.
